Kevin McCarthy was booed by supporters of Donald Trump during a virtual campaign appearance on Saturday.
The booing began as soon as the video was shown, according to the Daily Beast.
Greetings, Wyoming. The supporters of the former president began booing when he said he was Kevin McCarthy.
McCarthy supported the opponent of Rep. Liz Cheney.

Hageman is running against Liz Cheney. Trump has been critical of Cheney since she voted to impeach him after the January 6 riot. McCarthy and Cheney are at odds with each other.
McCarthy has been criticized by Trump supporters after audio of a phone call leaked where he said he planned to tell Trump to step down and was critical of the former president.
McCarthy said during the phone call that what Trump did was unacceptable. Nobody can defend that, and nobody should defend it.
McCarthy had supported Trump in the past, but the recording stood in contrast to that.
