Video footage shows the moment a group of Western volunteers destroyed a Russian armored vehicle.

The English-speaking fighters emerge from a treeline in the countryside near Kharkiv to hit a BTR-80 armored personnel carrier.

The weapon appears to be an RGW-90. The anti-tank weapon is one of the weapons sent to Ukraine by Western allies.

After the hit the men run away and appear to be unharmed even as the Russian forces open fire on them. Ben Grant is a 30-year-old British man, according to the UK's i newspaper.

Grant was a former Royal Marine who went to fight in Ukraine. Helen Grant is his mother. 13 British and US military veterans make up his unit.

The video showed a part of the operation that resulted in 38 Russian deaths. Thirty people died in a joint attack on a Russian position by the Western volunteers and Ukrainian forces.
