Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy offered his sympathies to Americans in a virtual address delivered to Standford students on Friday.

It is hard to comprehend. The New York Times reported that Zelenskyy said of the attack on Robb Elementary School that left 19 students and two teachers dead.

Zelenskyy noted that the Texas shooting happened three months after Russia invaded Ukraine. There have been reports of Russian war crimes since then.

According to EdWeek research, there have been 16 school shootings in the United States since February 24.

Zelenksyy said that we live in a terrible time when Americans express their sympathies to Ukrainians.
