Trump Media and Technology Group, the company behind former President Donald Trump's social media app Truth Social, recently laid out their plans for a new streaming service called TMTG+.
The subscription-based streaming service is set to be an alternative to the programs offered by streaming services. Digital World Acquisition Corp will not insist that programming push some particular political ideology, according to an SEC filing.
The streaming service will offer shows that embrace the Second Amendment, as well as Trump-specific shows, and other topics that appeal to conservatives and libertarians.
It will also have a radio show.
Programs that embrace the Second Amendment, blue-collar comedy, cancelled shows, Trump-specific programming, faith-based shows, family entertainment, shows that embrace the Second Amendment, and news are some of the programs that will be offered by TG+.
The DWAC says that the shows will emphasize cancellation of culture.
President Trump has stated that TMTG will stand up to self-righteous scolds and cancel culture. Failure to realize this vision would adversely affect TMTG's brand and business prospects.
Rolling Stone previously reported that job ads for producers were posted on May 11.
The previous venture, Truth Social, has been scrutinized for a variety of issues, ranging from technical problems to reports of censorship.
It has been noted by DWAC multiple times that the company may never achieve profitability.
Representatives for the company did not respond to the request for comment.
