Real Madrid send warning to Liverpool ahead of UCL final: When we play finals, we win

When Real Madrid play a final, they win it, says Thibaut Courtois.

Real will attempt to lift the trophy for a record-extending 14th time on Saturday when they faceLiverpool.

Real Madrid have won all seven finals they have played since the European Cup was re-designed as the U.S.'s premier club competition in 1992.

Courtois was on the wrong end of a Real victory when he was playing for Atleti Madrid, as Los Blancos defeated them 4-1 in extra time.

The Belgium goalkeeper said that they had already played one final against Madrid in the year before, and that he had the chance to win the trophy with Real for the first time. It wasn't the same for me. When Real Madrid play a final, they win it, and so I am on the right side of history.

Carlo Ancelotti believes that the club's past glory has helped propel them to the final once more, after Madrid recovered from losing positions in each knockout round.
