DC has just announced a graphic novel by Lamar Giles and Paris Alleyne. After Virgil went through a bad break up, his best friend, from the old cartoon, decided to help him by taking him to a music festival in Dakota. His ex also happens to be at the music festival, and that starts his troubled night. The Dakotaverse characters will be included in a graphic novel, which means there will be fun cameos for people who have grown up with the character. Up All Night will be released on June 6, 2023.

On April 4, 2023, Sarah Kuhn and Arielle Jovellanos will come together for Girl Taking Over: A Lois Lane Story. As a summer intern, Lois discovered a scandal that inspired her to create her own website for young women. She will have to figure out what kind of journalist she wants to be, even that comes with its own drawbacks.

DC's previous graphic novels have a pretty good track record, and it's nice that the publisher is using books like these to branch out and interest people who would otherwise be turned off by comics. The three of them sound like they will be fun takes on their characters. Expect more about them in the future.
