Alec Baldwin Announces Matriarch of Baldwin Family Dies

Alec Baldwin and his siblings are sad about the death of their matriarch.

According to Alec and his brothers, Carol M. Baldwin has died.

The cause of death for the Baldwin matriarch is not known. She raised millions of dollars for cancer research after she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Alex remembered his mother in a lengthy tribute posted on social media. And third ones as well. She spent the last 25 years of her life as a fighter and champion for the cause that she devoted her life to. We are all very proud of her accomplishments.

Carol met her future husband, Alec Jr., when they were attending Syracuse University in New York, and she was also the mother of two daughters.

When Alec's last child made it to their teenage years, his mom got a job at a marketing research firm.

Carol has 6 children, 25 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was 92 years old.
