The defamation suit against Johnny Depp resumed on May 16. There were some key moments from the week.

Her father's top priorities are his children and his wife.

On cross-examination, prosecutors pushed Chrisley's 32-year-old daughter to talk about a different side to her relationship with her dad, entering emails into evidence that show she reached out to the FBI after her father was indicted.

She told law enforcement that he had been threatening to exploit her.

She wrote in 2020 that she was not connected to the monster.

Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, who star in the USA Network reality series "Chrisley Knows Best," have been accused of evading taxes and operating a conspiracy to defraud banks by making it appear that they were wealthier than they were.

The Chrisleys walked away from $20 million in debt when the banks caught on to them. The couple hid money from the IRS.

Lindsie, who is Todd Chrisley's daughter from a previous marriage, evaded questions about contacting the FBI and was combative in her responses.

Members of the jury commented on her attitude after she became sarcastic.

Judge Eleanor Ross interrupted and said that she was not doing anyone any favors by answering the questions. Trust me.

Lindsie Chrisley told the jury that she hadn't spoken to her father in about two years before he reached out to her in 2019.

She thought he was going to apologize for the issues they had, but instead he was letting her know about the upcoming indictment.

She told investigators that her father and brother were threatening to release a sex tape. She talked about the alleged extortion on the Dr. Phil show.

Lindsie said during her testimony that she doesn't believe her father was involved in the extortion and that there never was a sex tape.

She said that it ruined her life.

Drama in the workplace

Lindsie Chrisley asked her stepmother, Julie, to adopt her when she was 19 because she was Todd Chrisley's children from a previous marriage.

She worked for her father's company in the office when she was in college.

Mark Braddock, the man who turned into the FBI after committing bank fraud on Chrisley, owned the company with her father.

Lindsie testified that she used her father's personal email account and instant messaging account in the office while she was there.

She didn't like when she was in the office that Braddock hated her and her siblings.

He testified that he had an intimate relationship with Todd Chrisley.

Lindsie Chrisley, one of the defense witnesses, testified that Braddock was belittling at work.

She lived in a house owned by her father that she was not allowed to invite over boys because of the conditions that she had to keep her grades up.

Lindsie Chrisley's boyfriend took photos of her in bed with her when he was married to Braddock.

Lindsie Chrisley said that he told her he took them for safekeeping.

She did not tell her dad that she was going to lose her housing.

She said that she would be telling on herself.

When she heard that her father was having an affair with his assistant, she quit CAM.

Lindsie Chrisley said she believed him.

She said that she wasn't going to stay and see it.

She gave back everything she owned, changed her number, and tried to make it on her own after quitting. She learned that the affair was not true.

Lindsie Chrisley appeared in a few seasons of "Chrisley Knows Best".

She said that she and her family are still co-existing.
