Why Stephen A. misses having LeBron in the playoffs (1:28)

The NBA playoffs would be even better if the Lakers were in them. The song is called "1:28."

The Los Angeles Lakers failed to make the playoffs this year, and that has led to a lot of off-court activity by King James. He took a family vacation to theMaldives in April and saw his son go to prom a few weeks ago.

James stopped by his I Promise School in Ohio on Wednesday to spend time with the students before the year ends.

I would appreciate it if you would let me crash your last day of school. Have a safe and fun summer. James said in a post on Wednesday that "don't forget what we talked about."

The students were surprised by the visit given all of the excited faces he was met with. James took pictures with the students and staff. A video of the kids welcoming him with a laugh appeared to be liked by the 37 year old.

The I Promise School was opened by James. Outreach to at-risk youth in his hometown is the focus of the school. James arranged for students who complete the school's program to have free tuition at the University of Akron. A program for parents of students who haven't completed their high school education is one of the initiatives at the I Promise School.

James wants 1,200 students to have moved through the program by 2029.
