If you're too young to remember, it's ok. The 1988 fantasy classic conceived by George Lucas and directed by Ron Howard is available to stream on Disney+. Star Wars Celebration just delivered its first trailer, so make time to watch it sometime during the summer.
The little people of the Willow fantasy universe will be getting a spell-slinging star in the form of Warwick Davis. In the original film, a group of friends saved an infant girl who was supposed to be destroyed by darkness. The series picks up years later with a new, younger group of heroes joining Willow himself on a dangerous quest to places far beyond their home, where they must face their inner demons and come together to save the world.
The plot is a bit of a mystery at this point. The first trailer introduces viewers to a world of magic, fearsome Trolls, and little Brownies, and it looks like a wild ride. Especially with a cast that includes young stars like Tony Revolori, who starred in three Tom Holland Spider-Man films.
Disney+ will have willow on Nov. 30.
