Sadio Mane (front)
Sadio Mane has scored 90 Premier League goals for Liverpool since joining them from Southampton in 2016

Sadio Mane says he will give a special answer over his future after the game.

There have been reports that Barcelona and a few other clubs are interested in signing the 30-year-old, who is in the last year of his contract.

The Senegal forward has already won the Africa Cup of Nations, Carabao Cup and FA Cup this term and is hoping to be retained by the Reds.

I think the answer I can give you is that I feel very good.

I must give an answer before the final, I am fully focused on Saturday's game. I will give you the best answer you want to hear when you come back to me on Saturday. It is special. I will let you know what you want to hear.

I sacrifice myself all the time because I love what I do. I work hard on the pitch and in the gym and I get better and better, that is the most important. I am trying to help the team.

Along with fellow forwards Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, who turn 30 and 31 in June and October respectively, Mane has been an important part of the success of the club.

The trio helped the club win the title in the following season after 30 years of waiting.

All three of them can leave for free next summer, with the exception of Mane, who will not be drawn on his future when asked what would happen if Real were to approach him.

He said that he was fully focused on winning the European Championship and that was more important for him and the fans.

I will do everything I can to win the game.

I think we forgot about what happened last year. Real Madrid were the better team and deserved to win the game, but it is going to be a different game.

Ballon d'Or candidate?

It is likely that an influential performance in the final will increase the chances of him winning the Ballon d'Or.

He wants to become the second African after George Weah to win the award.

It is true. I don't know what to say if you guys say it. The lack of African winners is sad.

The Africa Cup of Nations is the biggest trophy I have won in my life, and for an African player not to have won the Ballon d'Or since George Weah is sad.

Winning the European League is special. I have a chance to play it again and we will do everything we can to win it and see what happens.
