Since the Darksaber was acquired by the Mandalorian, another fight was inevitable. Bo-Katan thought she was going to take possession of the saber. It will be an issue in the third season of The Mandalorian. The creators of The Mandalorian played a trailer for the upcoming season, which featured Bo-Katan, and Sackhoff was there to promote the fact that she was coming back. Mando says that he is going to Mandalore to be forgiven for his transgressions. There was a lot of different shots of Bo-Katan looking at things, in person, through a starship, and then in a cave. She turned to him and asked if he thought his dad was the only Mandalorian.
There are a few things you can see from the footage, most of which are from the last episodes of the show. Bo-Katan might be the main antagonist. Lots of Doctor Pershing, so maybe we learn more about Grogu. The story of how Mando must go to Mandalore to be redeemed feels like the primary storyline. We think from this 60 or so second tease.
The third season of the show will be on Disney+ in 2023.
