The first look at Andor, the next Disney+ series set for release this August, has been given to us by Star Wars Celebration 2022. This time the war is very personal and not just the Rebellion versus the Empire.

The trailer was a lot of vibes, but still included more about the first figureheads of the rebellion. Luna joked to the crowd, "The beauty of this show is there, it's no way they'll kill me." We need a different perspective on the Star Wars Universe outside of the Skywalkers.

The Tony Gilroy show-ran series is set to debut on Disney+ and will be 12 episodes long. The second season, which will lead up to the events in Rogue One, was confirmed to begin shooting this November during the panel.

I have a hard time putting into words how proud I am of Luna and how much I want to see more people of Mexican heritage in films and TV. Can't wait! Can we let more people lead a Star Wars film?
