There was an armed guard in Buffalo. There was an armed guard. An armed guard was in Uvalde. There were armed guards. Police officers were on the scene. These murders still happen.

The U.S. has a mental health problem and a gun problem that need to be addressed, as well as the effectiveness of gun control laws in other countries. He stressed that the public has a role to play in forcing change, even though he focused on the inaction of America's elected representatives.

This is not their fault anymore. This is our fault, because we demand action, we don't get it, they wait it out, and we go back to our lives that we should be able to go back to. You know who doesn't forget? The parents of the children at Sandy Hook are now at Robb Elementary School. They will not forget it.

The end of the monologue featured a cut of politicians showing off guns, speaking in defense of them, and news reports of multiple mass shootings. Texan governor Greg Abbott and Texan senator Ted Cruz were included in these politicians.
