In a new video by Tim Dodd, Musk can be seen ascending to the top of the space company's tower, a massive metal construction designed to aid during both launch and landing.

The company has yet to launch its Starship into space, but it has made strides in building the hardware meant to facilitate such a launch, laying the groundwork for a spectacular maiden voyage of both Starship and Super Heavy.

Yeah. Musk told Dodd in the video that there is a custom built tower with arms that are designed to catch the largest and heaviest flying object ever made.

Jumping Off

The pair finally got to the top of the tower after several long and awkward elevator rides.

Musk took a picture of the view with a phone and said that the ship looked small from here.

Musk joked that they should get a hang glider and jump off.

Musk said that the arms of the tower will be wide and that the vehicle will descend through them.

A lot can go wrong. The team is optimistic despite the complexity involved in catching a 165-foot spaceship that weighs hundreds of tons with a tower.

Dodd was shown a video of the director of Starship launch engineering at the company, who said that they had not found a reason why it wouldn't work.

Musk said that success is one of the possible outcomes.

You can go up the robotic launch tower with Musk. There is a video onYouTube.

The FAA just pushed back the Orbital Test even further.
