According to a company investor presentation, Sony expects to have over 20 titles for the PS2 headset. The list will be made up of a combination of first- and third-party titles, and it will include the previously announced Horizon spinoff, according to a slide.

Sony Interactive Entertainment president Jim Ryan said there is a lot of money being spent on partnerships with independent and other third-party developers to secure a lot of attractive virtual reality content for the launch of the PSVR.

We don't have an official release date for Sony's forthcoming virtual reality headset, which the company has been slowly revealing details for over a year and a half. The design of the controllers for the PS4 was revealed in the month after the headset was announced. It wasn't until this year that it officially announced the headset's name, specifications and design. The headset is expected to release next year.

Half Life: Alyx, a major PC-based virtual reality release from 2020, is yet to see a release on Sony's console.

The second virtual reality headset from Sony will be called the Playstation VR2. The second headset is meant to be a companion for the PS5 and not a replacement for the PS4. It will have a display with a resolution of 2000x2040 per eye, support for frame rates up to 120Hz, and a single cable to connect to the console.
