The Braves revealed in April that Acuna would begin the 2020 season on the injured list as he continued to recover from his knee injury. He was in the midst of another great season for the Braves, hitting.283 with 24 home runs and 52 runs scored in just 82 games.
Acuna has won two Silver Slugger awards in the last two years, and he won the first baseman of the year in his first year. He finished fifth in the National League Most Valuable Player voting.
When Acuna was out this season, Atlanta relied on a group of players. Their performances have become more important this year after the departure of Freddie Freeman.
Acuna has looked good so far this season, hitting....................... If the Braves want to contend for another title this year, they will need Acuna to stay healthy.
Atlanta is in second place in the NL East.
