The LinkBuds S are $50 cheaper than the Air Pods Pro, but they are often on sale. The LinkBuds S will likely be available at a discount later this year.

The LinkBuds S have a Silicone tip that goes in the ear, and you can choose the size that fits best. The design similarities make them just as comfortable as the Air Pods Pro.

The Air Pods Pro and Link Buds S have a lot in common. It is nice that the LinkBuds S have an option to use the Sony app, something the Air Pods Pro do not. The Air Pods Pro have a better sound profile than the Link Buds S.

The LinkBuds S are bass heavy at their default settings, but it is fixable, so that gives them a customization edge over the Air Pods Pro.

The LinkBuds S and the Air Pods Pro are the same when it comes to noise canceling. It is difficult to say whether one is better than the other at blocking out ambient noise. The Air Pods Pro have a higher-quality transparency mode that makes the ambient sound more natural and Sony has an option to adjust the level of the ambient.

The Air Pods Pro offer up to 24 hours of total listening time, but the Sony LinkBuds S offer up to six hours of total listening time.

Both of these options are equivalent in a lot of ways. If you want more personalization, the LinkBuds S has the edge, but in the Apple system, the AirPods are always better.
