Kate Moss Testified That Johnny Depp Never Pushed Her Down The Stairs

Kate Moss told the court that her ex-boyfriend never pushed her down the stairs.

After Heard testified that she had feared that her husband would push her sister down a set of stairs during one of their arguments, Moss was called as a witness. She testified that the moment made her think of a rumor she had heard that Depp had done that to Moss.

Heard previously told the court that Johnny swings at her.

The mention of Moss by Heard opened the way for Depp to call the model as a witness to counter the allegation.

Moss spoke via video link from England about an incident during a vacation in Jamaica when she slid down a set of stairs after a rain storm.

She said that when he heard her cries, he came to her assistance.

Moss said that he screamed because he didn't know what had happened to him, and that he came running back to help him and carried him to his room.

Did Mr. Depp push you down the stairs?

Moss said no.

Did he push you down the stairs during your relationship?

Moss denied that he pushed, kicked, or threw him down the stairs.

Heard's lawyers objected to the question of why Moss had chosen to testify for the first time in a court case being beyond the scope of inquiry.

Heard's lawyers did not cross-examine Moss.
