The British number one was defeated in the second round of the French Open after taking a one-set lead.

The 19-year-old was defeated 3-6 6-1 by the 21-year-old Sasnovich of Belarus.

The 12th seed was unable to take any break points in the pivotal third game of the decider and Sasnovich broke in the next to win.

The US Open champion has lost in the second round in both of her Grand Slams.

There are no British women left in the singles draw after the exit of Raducanu.

The first British player to reach the third round on the Paris clay this year is Norrie, who will take on Australia's Kubler on Wednesday.

More to come.
