At least 19 children and two teachers were killed in a school shooting in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday, making it Texas's deadliest school shooting in modern state history.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said during a news conference that the attacker was a resident of the heavily Latino community about 85 miles west of San Antonio. The governor said Ramos walked into the school. Central time and gunfire.
