At Least 14 Children Dead After Texas Elementary School Shooting

Gov. Abbott says the shooter was a student at the high school. Ramos killed his grandmother, went to the school and opened fire before barricading himself in a room. He was killed by police.

A nightmare is unfolding in Texas as another mass shooting is being reported, this time at an elementary school, where at least 14 children and one teacher have been killed.

Reports out of Uvalde, Texas say a man opened fire near an elementary school before running inside. He barricaded himself inside a classroom where the shooting continued.

Governor Abbott says 14 children and one teacher are dead.

Robb Elementary has a student population of 500 and the last day of school was Thursday.

10 days ago, 10 people were killed and 3 other people were injured when an 18-year-old opened fire at a school. Gendron declared himself a white supremacist and carried a Bushmaster XM-15 rifle with racist references written on it.

It is not known who the shooter is at Robb Elementary, but they are dead as well.
