The body camera footage shows the moment a police officer in Houston, Texas, fatally shot a 29-year-old Black man in the back of the neck.

The video was shared on Tuesday by an attorney who is representing the family of the man who died after being pulled over.

In the 27 second clip, the officer, identified by police as Privette, gets out of his vehicle and yells, "He's running!" He is running before he demands to see Randle's hands.

A shot rings out and the police officer yells "Oh s**t!" as Privette continues to point his weapon. The Houston Police Department has posted more footage from the scene on the internet.

Attorneys for his family said that he was shot in the back of the neck. We believe the body cameras will show it, according to a press conference held earlier this month.

There wasn't much time given to comply with the officer's demand, which was shown in the released video.

The release of this footage, while heartbreaking for the family of Jalen, gives us a clearer picture of what happened in his final moments.

The brutality displayed in this video is very disturbing, from the officer firing a deadly shot as they handcuffed him and dragged his lifeless body across the ground, to the way they dragged his lifeless body across the ground.

According to police, the shooting took place as Randle got out of the silver SUV.

The assistant police chief said in the video that officers activated lights and sirens.

The driver of the vehicle refused to stop. The vehicle came to a stop after officers performed a pursuit intervention technique. Mr. Randle got out of the vehicle. He got back into the vehicle. An officer fired a shot at Mr. Randle after giving him a command to show his hands. First aid was being rendered on Mr. Randle.

He dropped a bag and a shoe after being shot. There was a gun in the bag.

The Harris County medical examiner's office listed a gunshot wound to the neck as the cause of death, but an official autopsy has not been released.

Privette was an officer when she was sworn in. According to KTRK, he was indicted by a grand jury for kneeing a drug suspect in the face. He was cleared after the charges were thrown out.

The driver who was seen on the body cam was arrested and charged with fleeing and attempting to evade a police officer.

The release of the footage comes a day before the second anniversary of the killing of George Floyd, a Minneapolis man whose neck was pinned to the ground by Officer Chauvin for more than nine minutes.

It is hard to believe that on the eve of the second anniversary of the murder of George Floyd, we are still begging the police to stop killing us.

We want full justice for the family of Jalen Randle. The officer needs to be held accountable.

The case is being investigated by the department's Special Investigations Unit, the Internal Affairs Division and the Harris County District Attorney's Office.
