All orders will be shipped shortly after the order is placed, according to the website.
With an influx of orders expected, the company can't promise fast delivery. The company says that the supply is subject to network and equipment availability.
The new RV service will be ideal for people who want to take internet with them when they travel. RV adventures, weekend camping trips, and stays at second homes are some of the examples where the new service would be useful.

Starlink RV subscribers will have to pay over $600 for the dish and over $150 for the internet connection. The hardware cost is the same as the residential service, but the monthly fee is more. Starlink for RVs has the ability to pause and un-pause service, allowing users to tailor their service to their individual travel needs, and thus better control their spending.
There are a few things to think about. Starlink broadband will only work in areas with active internet coverage. While a vehicle is in motion, it isn't possible to have internet access. This is being added to the service.
The network resources of Starlink will be de-prioritized compared to other Starlink services, which will result in a degraded service. When the service is stretched, customers can expect download speeds of between 5 mpbs and 100 mbps, compared to between 50 Mbps and 250 mbps with the regular service.
The Residential+Portability service is a little different from the Starlink service for RVs. R+P is ideal for customers who travel a few months a year, with the same dish able to be used. Existing Starlink customers can add Portability for $25 per month. Similar to RV, slower internet speeds could occur in congested areas and during peak hours, but portable customers can access maximum internet speeds. R+P does not have a pause capability.
Customers can try Starlink for 30 days. If customers don't like the service, they can get a full refund of hardware costs.
The Starlink internet service is powered by a network of around 2,000 satellites. Musk said earlier this year that Starlink has more than a quarter of a million customers in 25 countries.
