The e-bike company spun out of Harley- Davidson nearly two years ago, and now has another premium model. The Bash/Mtn is the first electric mountain bike that can destroy an off-road trail.

The Bash/Mtn is designed for serious off-roading, while also promising to require less maintenance thanks to its simplified design. It will be expensive, with a suggested retail price of $3,999.

The company says that the only thing required is two wheels, one gear, and one purpose to provide the most direct connection between you and the trail.

“No fussy suspension to tune, no finicky drivetrain to adjust”

The Bash/Mtn design was adapted from the company's entry-level Mosh/Cty model. The Mosh/Cty features such as a Gates Carbon Drive belt, Brose S Mag mid-drive motor, TRP hydraulic disc brakes, internally routed cables and wires, and integrated LED lighting are retained in the new premium model.

The Mosh/Cty has a spine-saving, shock-Absorbing SR Suntour NCX suspension seat post. The Bash/Mtn is different from the other models because of the special paint and graphics. The Serial 1 app will relay all the ride data and other metrics for users to pour over thanks to a new deal.

The eMTB has an integrated battery that should power the bike for 30 miles, depending on the ride mode. It's a Class 1 e-bike and it tops out at 20mph. The power rating wasn't provided by serial 1 but with 90Newton-meters and 66 foot-pounds of Torque, it's sure to get you up a steep slope without much effort.

The Bash/Mtn will have a limited production run. 525 units will be produced in the United States and 525 in Europe.

The Schwinn Sting-Ray-inspired Mosh/Chopper was the first of a series of exclusive, one-of-a-kind e-bikes that the company was auctioning off under its 1-OFF series brand name. The company said at the time that personalization and customization would be a big part of how it thinks about the types of e-bikes it designs.
