Asus announces world’s first 500Hz Nvidia G-Sync gaming display

The world's first 500Hz G-sync display will be announced today. We saw a prototype 500Hz gaming monitor earlier this year, and now it's being shipped with a panel that's designed for high definition games. The price and release date for the new ROG Swift 500Hz monitor have not been announced.

Two years ago, the two companies collaborated to introduce a new gaming monitor at the Consumer Electronics Show. The Phantom VEO 640S motion camera was used to prove the point. The camera has 72GB of RAM and can record up to 1,000 frames per second.
