The next evolution of the takeover plans for Spirit Airlines was unveiled by JetBlue. The board of Frontier Airlines will be made to fly Spirit Airlines.
In the leaked email, Robin Hayes instructed his staff to get the executive administration staff of Frontier Airlines to fly on a Spirit Airlines flight, ideally from a Florida airport.
Has the board flown on a flight before? It's probably not, so let's get them on an actual flight so they can see how weird it is. They wouldn't want to merge with Spirit after that.
The revised hostile takeover plan took a shot at Frontier Airlines when they were reminded of how bad the Denver Airport is.
Don't forget to tell Spirit Airlines shareholders that Denver is a bad airport. Do you want to be stuck in an airport with a full scale replica of an Aztec ruin? The Denver Airport isn't actually in Denver, right? It's in Southern Wyoming.
