A new trailer for Taika Waititi's follow up to THOR: RAGNAROK gives some insight on Jane's new lease on life, along with a greater showcase for what she's capable of. It involves a lot of hammers and lightning. The new trailer offers a lot to be excited about, as well as giving a glimpse of an interesting dynamic between Jane andThor now that they are on.
The first look at the film's main baddie, Gorr, is offered in the trailer. The God Butcher, played by Christian Bale, has gone around slaughtering the gods after losing his family and people to tragedy. The quest for a queen to rule New Asgard with the help of the gods is a high priority for the Thors. The trailer gives us our first real look at the Olympians version of the MCU's heroes, including RussellCrowe as Zeus, giving our heroes an even bigger supporting cast to play with now that Asgard and the Nine Realms are behind us.
It looks like another winner for Waititi, and well worth the ticket price at the theater. Wait until July 8 to do anything, only thing left to do is wait. The new poster is colorful.
