Manchester City won their fourth title in five years during a parade around the city.

City pipped rivals to the trophy by coming from behind to beat Villa in a nail-biting finale to the season on Sunday.

Thousands of fans lined the streets as the open-top bus parade made its way through the city.

It had been an incredible achievement according to the manager.

City players and staff gathered on stage at the end of the parade on Deansgate to hear the coach say that the league is the toughest he has ever been a part of.

The Club shared images of fans taking over the streets of the city ahead of the parade on social media with the simple message that Manchester is blue.

The atmosphere at the club was absolutely ecstatic, according to a City fan who had gathered to celebrate.

She said that they have not stopped partying and are still going.

After Sunday's nail-biting match, which saw the side hit back from 2-0 to beat the Villars, a fellow fan said his heart had finally got to a steady beat.

This is Manchester City. He said that they do this every time.

There is something about this club that makes it special.

She described the win as every Christmas come at once.
