Capitol Music Groups won't release a new song unless they can first play it on social media, according to singer Halsey.

The allegations were made in a TikTok that has been viewed 7.9 million times as of Monday afternoon, and that they were told the song couldn't be released despite being viewed millions of times.

The song and music video for it is done, according to the singer.

The performer said that they still don't have a release date for the song, even though their TikTok has gone viral.

A Capitol Music Group spokesman told Forbes that they believe in Halsey as a singular and important artist and can't wait for the world to hear their new music.
