The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the production company of former late-night talk-show host, Team Coco, is going to be sold to the satellite radio company for $150 million.

The hit show "Conan O'Brien Needs a friend" will remain on the streaming services, but O'Brien will executive-produce a new comedy channel on the satellite-radio service.

O&Brien will stay with the company for the next five years.

O'Brien has hosted late-night talk shows on NBC and TBS, as well as being a writer on "The Simpsons" and "Saturday Night Live".

He hosts a show called "Conan O'Brien needs a friend." It features lengthy interviews with celebrities. It is one of the most popular podcasts on the internet. The hit shows are hosted by Rob Lowe and are produced by Team Coco.

Team Coco is the latest in a series of major acquisitions by larger media platforms.

The Joe Rogan Experience and the Gimlet Media have been bought by the streaming service, according to reports.

Earwolf was included in the acquisition of Stitcher by SiriusXM in 2020.

A representative for Team Coco did not respond to a request for comment as of publishing, while a representative for SiriusXM declined to comment on the terms of the deal.
