The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to a two-year contract with quarterback Nick Foles, who was the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles when they won the Super Bowl, a source confirmed on Monday.
A source told Jeremy Fowler that the Eagles showed interest in a possible reunion with the quarterback before he signed with the Colts.
The Colts acquired Matt Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons in a trade and will back him up.
The news of the agreement with the Colts was first reported.
Sam Ehlinger, who was selected by the Colts in the sixth round of the 2021 draft, is one of the quarterbacks on the depth chart.
