IWTA is able to speak to Ewa Narkiewicz and Michelle Reedy, two women who have been doing astic jobs in Thailand for the last 16 years. The way of life for these two incredible women has changed a lot since they traveled to Thailand 20 years ago. The Royal Karaal is a sanctuary that takes in unwanted elephants and gives them a home safe from abuse and takes care of any elephants born there. We did face some initial problems but that is now behind us. Being with elephants takes a lot of time. The job gets taxing because they need fulltime attention. It is equally enriching. Watching the illness and deaths of elephants has not been an easy experience, even though we have seen a baby elephant being born. Life and these elephants have been motivating. Elephants are one of the most intelligent animals on the planet and every single day is inspiring. Life comes through when you follow your heart. 16 years ago, we came from Melbourne and thought this would be one of those amazing holidays with the elephants. It became the mission of our lives. When you go with the flow, you never know where life will take you. You can listen to this interview on your RSS platform. No one should be allowed to remain in the country. Don't allow yourself to be there.Meet Ewa Narkiewicz and Michelle Reedy from Elephantstay, Thailand
