Xiaomi and Leica to launch a co-branded phone in July

After some earlier rumors, today Xiaomi finally confirmed its long-term strategic cooperation with Leica and that they are working on a flagship phone. This will be the German camera firm's latest collaboration.

Chinese phone makers have used the photography know-how from a renowned camera brand before. The X80 series was the latest release from the partnership between Vivo and Zeiss. The Find X5 series and the OnePlus 10 Pro are some of the phones that were developed with Hasselblad.

Our money is on theXiaomi 13 label and the brand new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, along with some classic images and filters from Leica. In the press release, CEO Lei Jun said that this cooperation will provide a strong boost to the company.
