During the first quarter of this year, the market growth of the smartphone market in North America was better than that of other giants. According to a new Canalys report, the market share of the company in the region nearly doubled thanks to the Pixel 6 series.

The report states that the search giant shipped 1.2 million units in the first quarter of the year, up from 200,000 in the same period last year. The company's market share in North America increased by 380% and it was firmly established in the top 5.

Canalys Research analyst Runar Bjrhovde said that the company is on the offensive to take market share, building on its wide carrier presence and unprecedented investment in thePixel brand.

The other major players have a bigger market share. According to Canalys, the company captured 3% of the North American market in the first quarter, up from 1% in the year-ago quarter.

The market share of the two companies was 4%. Rounding out the top three is a 10% market share by Lenovo.

The market share of the company fell to 27% from 28% in the same period last year. It has 1% annual growth and 10 million shipments. Apple shipped 19.9 million units in the North American market.

It's no surprise that the Pixel 6 and the Pro are considered to be among the best phones on the market despite their flaws, as the business is showing healthy signs of growth.
