The long-awaited Special Edition of Virgil Abloh's book, Figures of Speech, is releasing in just a matter of days, coinciding with the opening of the exhibition of the same name at the High Museum in Atlanta.
Launching on October 29, the Figures of Speech Special Edition has the words "PERSONAL COPY" silkscreened on the fore-edge of the book, as it comes in a cloth slipcase with a real measuring tape book marker. It also includes a flexi disc printed with a Juergen Teller photo, featuring a spoken word recording by Abloh and Playboi Carti.
Figures of Speech is a 496-page retrospective by Virgil Abloh, boasting 1,932 images and numerous essays touching on such topics as streetwear, contemporary art, and more. The book also highlights standout moments from Abloh's career, including his work with Nike, Louis Vuitton, IKEA, and Kanye West.
