A reader has told us that OfficeMax and Office Depot will return tomorrow with a profitable way to earn 5x on Visa gift cards. There is a Chase Offer good for 10% back up to $11 available on some cards, which my wife found on her Ink Cash card, which makes for a nice stack.
Two $200 Visa gift cards is the best option. If you pay with a card that earns more at office supply stores, you will generate $101 worth of spend which can be worth far more than $1.
You will make $1.10 profit with two $62.95 fees and 1,995 Ultimate rewards points for every two Visa gift cards that you buy.

You can link your payment card in the Dosh app. There is a limit on the amount of Dosh that can be used at Office Depot/OfficeMax. Some have had cash back clawed back, others haven't. YMMV.
