Boeing did it.

The manufacturer's Starliner space taxi finally docked to the International Space Station last night after a two-year delay. There was no crew on board, but it did deliver 800 pounds of cargo and important supplies to the astronauts.

NASA encouraged fans to watch live as the crew of the International Space Station opened its hatch and began working, after posting footage of Starliner docking to the station yesterday.

Get Along

Photos taken from the live stream and posted by a CBS space journalist show three smiling Russian cosmonauts with NASA astronauts at the welcome ceremony for the new arrival. The crew seemed pretty happy to get their hands on the stuff Starliners brought to them.

The shots show the crew opening the hatch and drifting into the craft, which also seems to have a dummy in it's seat.

It is possible that Boeing is collecting data about its eventual crew launch aboard the vehicle. The company has been trying to compete with Musk's company for a long time.

Seeing the space race between the companies will be interesting.

Boeing is said to be melting down over Disastrous Spacecraft.
