Kylian Mbappe has agreed to stay at Paris St-Germain.

The World Cup winner had been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid but has committed his future to the French club.

A new three-year contract will be signed by Mbappe.

The deal is still to be signed, but the club is likely to make an announcement around their final game of the season.

Guillem Balague wrote last month that he was going to be offered a signing-on fee of 150 million dollars by Paris Saint-Germain.

Kylian Mbappe had agreed a financial package with Real months ago for a potential switch to Spain, but has decided not to join Carlo Ancelotti's side.

He joined Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan from Monaco and has helped them win four titles in five seasons.

The player was going to be offered a 21m net annual salary by the side that owned him.

In the last 16 of the Champions League, Kylian Mbappe scored in each leg against Real, but it wasn't enough to prevent them from going out.

He scored 25 goals and provided 17 assists as Paris Saint-Germain won the domestic title with four games to spare.

On Friday, Mauricio Pochettino said he had no idea where Mbappe would play next season.

I hope Kylian is here for many years to come, but I can also tell you that. I don't know what's going to happen

There are lots of rumors, but the player is the one who will have to talk about it.
