Did you see anything good lately? What about something bad? Either way, your stream counted towards Reelgood's metrics regarding the most-streamed movies of the week across all platforms.

The Batman and The Lost City are back on the list this week, with the Caped Crusader slipping from the top spot to seventh. The original Top Gun remained on the list despite the streaming debut of two other movies, one of which was Senior Year.

Romancing the Stone is a movie about an action-movie starring the two actors. She is a romance novelist looking to turn her back on her career and love. Alan is the cover model who has been the face of her sexy adventures for years. It is up to Alan to save the day when a billionaire abducts her to find an ancient artifact.

The Lost City is an adventure that is inoffensively entertaining and easy to enjoy. The man is in good shape. Alan is delightful, even though his hero doesn't reach the heights of Chris Hemsworth's side-splitting himbo in Ghostbusters. Brad Pitt, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Patti Harrison make the most out of smaller supporting roles that bring some edge to the overall tame adventure.

The Lost City can be watched on Paramount+.

2. Firestarter

When in doubt, adapt a Stephen King story. It is free, there is name recognition, and most of the stories are appealing. Firestarter is a King adaptation about a young girl who starts fires. By shouting. Her uncontrollable powers make her a subject of fear and ridicule, which leads to the question of if she will grow up to control her powers or become the monster everyone expects her to be.

The Firestarter feels pointless in the end. It is a story we have seen many times. This version has some superficial differences from the Firestarters that have come before, but nothing distinguishes it as exceptional, exciting, or essential. It feels like a movie you might throw on while you're on the phone or folding the laundry.

Firestarter is on Peacock.

3. Operation Mincemeat

The true story of a secret British WWII operation where intelligence agents transformed the unclaimed body of a homeless person into a dead army captain and planted it off the coast of Spain with false information about a plan to invade Greece and Sardinia is told in the film. The plan was bold then, and it is still bolder in this original adaptation of Ben Macintyre's novel. Colin Firth and Matthew Macfayden both played Fitzwilliam Darcy in two different films of Pride and Prejudice. Go figure!

You can watch it on the internet.

The 1986 hit is flying on streaming. The sequel to Top Gun is in theaters. It is time to return to the tale of arrogant pilot Maverick and his best friend, Goose, as they attempt to prove they are the best of the best. There are plenty of moments that will be recalled in the sequel, including a steamy romance, a bold performance by Val Kilmer, and aerial action.

Top Gun is available on Paramount+.

5. Senior Year

A former high school cheerleader is in a coma after sustaining an injury in her senior year of high school. She wants to finish high school at the top of the social hierarchy when she wakes up, despite her cool teen past.

Senior Year is now available on the internet.

6. Old

Hey, I mean. The beach makes you old. That is kind of it. People go to the beach. There is a big twist at the end of the film. The beach makes you old.

Some of Old's rougher edges will rub certain viewers the wrong way. The film marks an exciting development for the director. Old doesn't bother to apologize for the audacity of its premise. Instead, it gives audiences something completely new.

Old is streaming on the pay per view channel.

7. The Batman

The Batman sees Bruce Wayne going back to his early days as the caped avenger against The Riddler, a serial killer who made the Dark Knight series a success. The cast includes Colin Farrell as The Penguin, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, and Jeffrey Wright as Lt. Gordon.

We thought it would be a bad idea to tell you The Batman is studded with stars, action, comic book characters, real-world parallels, gorgeous cinematography, and grit-teeth seriousness. It is not exciting or fun. It was not a ride, but a chore. Considering all the stories that might be told with these characters, the truly daring possibilities it scratches at dwarfs the film it actually is.

The Batman is on the streaming service.

8. The Gentleman

Matthew McConaughey plays an American expatriate who is looking to cash out after years of building a drug empire in London. This kicks off a rowdy melee for power that brings in a lot of wild characters. Charlie Hunnam, Jeremy Strong, Colin Farrell, Henry Golding, and Hugh Grant are some of the stars of The Gentleman.

The Gentleman is available on the streaming service.

9. Ghostbusters: Afterlife

Four men busted ghosts. Four women busted ghosts. Children bust ghosts, and Paul Rudd is there. Ghostbusters: Afterlife follows the daughter and granddaughters of original Ghostbuster Egon Spengler as they inherit his spooky farmhouse in a town that has a problem with ghosts. The new generation of Spenglers take the Ecto-1 out for a spin and do what they were born to do: bust ghosts.

Where the original film soared because of the chemistry between a bunch of characters in conflict, these descendants are poor replacements that feel more like plot points than people. Callie is a bad example of Daddy Issues. Most of her lines are griping about Egon, which not only fails to ingratiate her to the audience but also is a waste of Coon's talents. In a million different ways, the key purpose of Trevor is to ask Phoebe what is that! It is thought to serve as a walking explainer for newcomers to the franchise. It's hard to imagine anyone wanting to see more from this squad.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is available on Starz.

10. The Sadness

Shudder has a reputation for being the streaming destination for horror. The symptoms of a strange virus in Taiwan are more strange than a cough or afever. The population is turned into indiscriminate violence by the virus, as the protagonists struggle to avoid being murdered or worse.

Shudder has the streaming of The Sadness.
