If you follow any travel influencer on social media, you're likely to see a picture of them eating a large breakfast in a pool. I'm curious if this is just my view of the world, or if I'm the only one who doesn't like it.
Many people have posted pictures on social media of them eating a large breakfast in a pool. If you want room service on a tray that you can enjoy in your room, you should get it on a tray that you can enjoy in your pool. This is supposed to be an evolution of the idea of breakfast in bed.
Chalet Al Foss has a video about a floating breakfast with 18 pastries and some fruit. Do people pay to stay at Chalet Al Foss, or is the hotel designed for travel? What is the business model there?
I have to point out that I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that offers breakfast in the pool. I've stayed in a number of nice hotels, but I don't remember calling room service to order breakfast or being asked if I wanted it on a floating tray, even when I had a private pool.
Is this something that's widely offered, or is the floating tray industry trying to make us request that hotels offer this? I don't know.
I'm curious if eating in the pool is just me.
I wonder if there is any appeal to eating in the pool if you want to get a shot for social media? I feel like even if I were served a floating breakfast tray, I would still like it.
You would think that you could order one of the floating breakfasts via the food delivery service. It's intended to be aspirational, but to me it's just boring, and the logistical side of my brain is triggered by the whole setup. showering in bed, or sleeping in the bathroom?
What do you think about floating hotel breakfasts? Would anyone like one of these if they weren't allowed to take a picture?
