The country is in danger of beingimploding in the wake of the racially motivated shooting in Buffalo, according to Rep. Jim Clyburn.

The country is in danger of collapsing, according to Clyburn. I don't know why people think that this country isn't affected by historical trends. These trends are clear to me.

In the interview, the majority whip was asked about his thoughts on the Buffalo shooting, in which 10 people in a predominantly Black neighborhood were killed, as well as solutions for racism in the US.

Clyburn said the Charleston shooting reminded him of that one. The Buffalo shooter was inspired by white supremacist ideology.

It seems as if they were just supposed to happen then you go and wait for it. They are going to keep happening.

He said that it is difficult to put together legislation in response to acts of hate because the country does not acknowledge racism.

The Enhanced Background Checks Act was co-sponsored by Clyburn and the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act was blocked by the GOP.

No problem can be solved until we admit that there is a race problem. It has been there for over 400 years.
