Baymax is a superhero, but casual fans don't know it. Disney took a number of liberties when they adapted Baymax and his team into Big Hero 6. Baymax is an inflatable health care robot. Baymax was reprogrammed by his brother, Hiro, so he could become a superhero. Baymax needs to live up to his original programming.

Baymax!, an original series that spins out of Big Hero 6, will debut on Disney+ next month. You won't find superhero fights here if you are expecting them. In the new trailer for the series, Hiro is surprised when Baymax strikes out on his own to heal the people of San Fransokyo, whether they want his help or not. The animation of the trailer is very impressive.

The Baymax! series was created by Don Hall, the director of Big Hero 6.

Baymax wants to help someone in each of the six episodes. He sets out to fix a physical issue that he identified, and in the process, gets to a deeper, more emotional place and can be almost revolutionary in that role.

Big Hero 6's Baymax returns in a new series.

Scott Adsit will reprise his role as Baymax. The voices of Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Emily Kuroda, Lilimar, Zeno Robinson, and Jaboukie Young-White can be heard on the show.

Disney+ will show Baymax! on June 29.
