While the AP notes Republicans disapproval of Biden has remained steady, a poll found less than one in 10 GOP respondents approve of him.
Biden's approval rating with Democrats is lower now than it was in 2021, when he had at least an 82% approval rating among his own party.
Only 38% of respondents approve of Biden's job on immigration, and two-thirds disapprove of how he has handled the economy.

Gallup found that Donald Trump's approval rating was historically low for a president going into the midterm elections, and he faced low approval ratings throughout his presidency. According to FiveThirtyEight, at this point in his presidency, Trump had an approval rating of 42%.
