We have known for a while that Hideo Kojima was working on a new project, but there has been no indication as to what it might be. It looks like we know that Norman Reedus is working on a sequel to Death Stranding after he let it slip in an interview.
When asked about his work on the first Death Stranding, Reedus said that they just started the second one, and that he explained how much work went into his performance. It was a huge thing when the game came out and it won all the awards, so we started part two.
“We just started the second one”
It's not quite an official confirmation, but it's not a surprise either. Death Stranding was the first release by the man who directed the Metal. Death Stranding went on to become a hit that was eventually expanded through a director's cut and a PC port.
An official announcement for the game could happen very soon with Summer Game Fest happening next month.
