Netflix has picked up Heartstopper for two more seasons

The streaming platform renewed the show for two more seasons just a few weeks after it began airing.

According to Variety, Oseman will return as writer and executive producer for two more installments of Heartstopper. The story of how Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson fall in love is similar to the graphic novel. The first season of Heartstopper focuses on the beginning of Charlie and Joe's romance with plot points from the first and second volumes of the graphic novel. There is plenty of time to get caught up on the books to get a sense of where the show is likely to go.
