A couple in Seattle Washington decided to ship out and stay, because the cost of living there was too high. Richard and Angelyn were fed up with the fact that they had to pay $3,500 a month for basics, which did not include food, transportation or entertainment. They started to think that it was way cheaper than we thought. They thought it would cost them $100 a day on a cruise ship. Richard and his wife hopped on a cruise ship and stayed there, calling the ocean liner their home after Richard retired as a computer programmer. They become landlubbers in between cruises and usually stay in hotels. They will be on land again in July for back-to-back cruises which will last 9 months. They have taken cruises to the Mexican Rivera and the Panama Canal.
