The winter service from Edinburgh to Bridgetown was dropped by Virgin Atlantic.

As we emerge from the Pandemic, we have had to make careful decisions about our network, continually reviewing flying and holiday schedules.

Due to the difficult decision to suspend plans to operate Edinburgh-Barbados services this winter, customers will be contacted from this weekend to inform them of the cancellation and their options.

We are very sorry for disrupting customers, but we will continue to operate services from Manchester and Heathrow.

Affected customers will be booked on to a Manchester service with all reasonable transport costs reimbursed.

Customers who are affected by the re-routing can choose to get a voucher or a full refund. If you booked via a third party, you should contact them directly for your options.

We will continue to evaluate new routes for our Edinburgh gateway and remain committed to serving our Scottish customers, in close cooperation with our partners at Edinburgh airport.

Regular services will continue to the Caribbean island from Manchester and London this winter.
