Elon Musk calls report that he exposed himself to a flight attendant ‘politically motivated’

Musk denied a report that he exposed himself to a flight attendant and sexually propositioned her.

According to an article published Thursday by Insider, Musk had sexually harassed a woman while getting a massage on a private jet while traveling for his company. A friend of the flight attendant said that Musk had rubbed the flight attendant's leg, exposed his genitals, and offered her a horse to get her to do more.

According to Insider, the flight attendant was paid a $250,000 severance after she contacted a lawyer. The flight attendant and her friend, who shared a signed declaration with Insider supporting the flight attendant's story, were not identified in the article.

Musk told the publication that if he were to engage in sexual harassment, it would be the first time in his entire career that it would come to light.

Musk did not say why he thought the article was politically motivated. The article comes a day after he said he would vote Republican after previously voting mostly Democrat.

The alleged incident took place in a private room on the flight to London. No one else was present to corroborate the story.

The payment to the flight attendant was barred from being discussed by the agreement. The company didn't respond to a request for comment.
