A video from the National Guard shows a group of troops blowing up a bridge to stop a Russian advance.

According to the National Guard, the band of Ukrainian troops were represented by the National Guard, Secret Service, and Special Operations Forces, and they wanted to prevent Russian forces from attacking the nearby cities of Rubezhnoye.

The video, which was shared to Facebook on Wednesday, shows Ukrainian troops loading anti-tank mines into a car and placing explosives around a bridge.

After setting up the explosives, the Ukrainians scurried away from the bridge and hid behind bushes and cars. An explosion could be heard in the background as a soldier pressed a button on a device.

Blowing up bridges helped protect the city. The National Guard wrote on Facebook that it would provide advantages in the defense of the controlled regional center of Luhansk region.

Russian equipment was lost when Ukrainian forces prevented Putin's troops from crossing the Siverskyi Donets river.

The river has prevented Russian forces from capturing strategic ground and giving them a chance to attack.

After Putin's forces failed to capture the capital city of Ukraine, the war has turned into a bloody campaign.
